Are you a company in the business-to-business space who thinks marketing online isn’t going to work for you? Or maybe you do want to increase your ranking on Google, but feel it’s impossible to beat your competition.
Back in December, I published an article on the SEMRush blog that addressed some very specific changes we made to a website that made an enormous difference in their rankings. They were concerned that they were not being found for the topic of their main product (in fact they were listed on page 3 of Google for most searchers). Now, they are ranking at the top of page 1!
One important note – rankings are good, traffic is better, and sales are the goal. So don’t think that just by increasing your ranking – your work is done. Now you have to make sure the website entices people to contact you. Finally, are you tracking where your leads are coming from?
But back to the rankings for a moment. The article discusses important items that are an absolute must for any site. They are things that many business owners and marketers overlook – and in many cases they can be low-hanging fruit to give your site an increase in relevant traffic.
