For several years now, we have always tried to bring our freshest SEO strategies, insights, techniques and tools to our hands-on workshop students who are willing to come to class and fully participate in a 2-Day, 3-Day or 5-Day SEO Workshop.
In Blog posts, we can share a fair bit of information, recent updates or changes to the world of search, but of course it is not quite the same as having someone sit down and show you step-by-step exactly how it’s done.
At the workshops, we like to take each participant and help them to grasp not only the theory, but give them personalized hands-on training, where they learn “by doing.”
For today’s post, I’d like to just remind all of our readers about the importance of contextual richness in the pages you are creating. By this we are referring to a method of knowing which words are most important (other than your primary keyword phrase) and which ones may be completely missing from your copy. Having these important secondary supporting words included will boost the relevance of your pages. And relevancy is one of the most essential ranking factors.
You must always remember that some of these secondary or supporting terms are missing from your pages, but are being used, for example, in a competitor’s content, they may have a significant advantage over your content for relevancy.
So the question to ask is, which sets of words appear or perhaps co-occur the most among your competitors so that top sub-topics that are related to your target key-phrase are exposed? Would it be nice to be able to know, and not guess at the competitive landscape by using a simple tool that will provide you with a concrete score, for how rich the context is of your pages and of your competitors?
Here is the tool that you may want to try and it is called (not surprisingly) SEO Context Analyzer. Check out the various features on this page: Plus you can get a 7 Day trial for just $1.00.
