In the latest SEO news…
And it happened at midnight, July 1, 2013. Search Engine Academy has the sadz…
Dammit, I was really hoping it would get a last minute reprieve, but nooooo…
I am playing around with Pulse and The Old Reader. There’s things about both of them that I’m not completely happy with, and the common denominator is they just don’t do well on my Nook ebook reader. I can hear you now…it’s my fault I didn’t go with the Kindle. Well, I hear ya, but a girl’s only got so many dollars to fling around, ya know?
I’ve bookmarked the page where Google lists alternative RSS readers. There’s a couple I’ll check out. I’m teaching an SEO class the next two weeks, so it’s gonna be awhile before I get to testing them.
Nancy – if you do get a chance to check out some alternatives – please let us know! I’ve been using Feedly with some success, but still trying to discover the best way to send Google Alerts over to Feedly. Thanks for the heads up!
The combo of Feedly + Pocket on my android and tablet have served me better than Google Reader ever did.
I use Feedly for my laptops and Android phone; Feedly sucks for my Nook, but I haven’t made the time yet to download an RSS reader that’s more compatible with Nook’s outdated operating system. Then I have to figure out how to import my feeds, or rebuild them by hand. Ugh. Thanks for stopping by!
