Free SEO Webinar Video: Keyword Forensics
One of the reasons that people use the Internet, in the way they do is based upon the current conditions in their lives.
If someone needs a mortgage, obviously they may search for the "lowest mortgage rates." If someone is thinking of catching a movie, they may first read a review online from their favorite critic. But this is limited to general keyword research.
When we research using keyword forensics principles, the focus is not on checking for specific keyword phrases, like most people logically might do. You can do that if you want, but you are going to find far more powerful alternatives by opening up the widest scope of data, possible. It's the hidden evidence of search behavior that so many miss out on.
It is far more powerful to explore how a specific root word is being used within multiple phrase clusters then quickly sorting the results for the easiest phrase combinations. By easy phrase combinations, I mean specific phrases that have fair to high usage, but that also hold fairly modest competitive factors. If you follow this model, you will become efficient at keyword forensic research and you will eventually begin discovering power phrases that are very revealing.
In our live hands-on SEO training workshops here at the Search Engine Academy, we actually have about 12 different ways to access user behavior.
But for this webinar, John Alexander describes five different ways that are fairly easy to get started tapping into revealing keyword phrases and behaviors very quickly. Come listen in to the replay if you missed the live presentation.
