The Search Engine Academy Georgia is licensed by the Search Engine Academy. Their focus is to teach the same curricula as the Search Engine Academy, and impart a standardized methodology to doing proper, "white-hat" search engine optimization techniques.

The Search Engine Academy of Georgia's curriculum is flavored with Alan's fresh approach, bringing real-world brick-and-mortar marketing experiences and learnings to internet marketing training. Alan knows business, and is at his best teaching business owners how to utilize the internet to achieve their revenue goals.
Alan has been working with companies to enhance their presence in the mail-order, retail and e-commerce marketplace for over thirty years. Alan worked with 3M early in his career, honing his selling skills in office products.
After successfully managing a 3M branch, Alan moved into the computer business as the Vice President of The Future Now, Cincinnati's largest Apple dealer. He was instrumental in the launch of the Macintosh with Apple as a reseller, and later transitioned to Apple as an employee where he became the Ohio Valley Regional Manager. Alan was responsible for Apple's largest resellers nationally at the time, CompUSA, MicroCenter, Computerland, Computer City, and Businessland, where he was chartered with cementing Apple's presence in the computer retail marketplace. Alan signed Apple's largest software site licenses at Eli Lilly, Dow Chemical, and Union Carbide.
Alan then moved to Adobe Systems as National Sales Manager for their newly formed Consumer Products Division, where he was a key player in the launch of Photoshop Elements and Acrobat nationally. He also began working with a relatively new online reseller, Computer Discount Warehouse, growing CDW to Adobe's largest customer through strategic advertising promotion, and training.
As the Internet grew, Alan moved into the broadband arena with DSL company Covad, where he sold and managed EarthLink to become Covad's largest reseller of broadband services, producing over 50% of Covad's total revenue. Alan became Covad's VP of Sales and Marketing for both the South and the Central regions. Alan left Covad to become an independent consultant, focusing on "change the world" technologies, developing go-to-market strategies for early stage wireless and consumer electronic manufacturers.
Alan made a decision to become part of the Search Engine Academy and joined to begin delivering hands-on SEO training in Georgia in two-day classes, three-day advanced SEO classes and complete five-day SEO mastery workshops. The Search Engine Academy of Georgia also offers local search and social media workshops to help businesses market themselves on the Internet.
These workshops focus on teaching students how to move beyond SEO "Voodoo, Magic and Tricks", instead empowering students to create successful SEO strategies based upon powerful mathematical methods of optimization with accuracy and exactness. Students gain a true understanding of how search engines work and what makes a web page relevant. Armed with this knowledge, students are able to achieve sustainable goals in the least amount of time while knowing exactly what works and why.
High-tech but very normal, Alan lives in Alpharetta with his wife of 23 years, Nan, owner of The Snooty Fox Tack Exchange, a well-known equestrian retail store located in Alpharetta. They live on a small horse farm with eleven animals (five dogs, a cat, and five horses).
Alan's hobby is tournament bass fishing, and he is the secretary and past president of Marietta BassMasters. Alan's son, Aaron, is President of Cicada Dynamic Systems, a full-service web development company with offices in Cincinnati and Miami. Cicada has an extensive portfolio of work, and has ongoing relationships with several very large companies, including Procter and Gamble.
