Search Engine Academy is the first search engine optimization training designed for people with little or no previous experience with SEO.  It also has a detailed certification program for current SEOs to ensure they possess the most current and correct skills. The Search Engine Academy was formed by industry leaders Robin Nobles and John Alexander. Each of the Search Engine Academies are independently owned and operated by licensed associates of the Search Engine Academy.

Robin Nobles was the first online search engine marketing instructor on the Internet.  Over the last 8 years Robin has taught several thousands of students the concepts of search engine marketing strategies both online and in on location workshops and seminars.

Robin Nobles is a professional writer who writes weekly articles about the search engine industry as well as two weekly newspaper columns that are published in a series of newspapers and computer journals across the Southern United States. She currently has two books on the market, both on the topic of search engine marketing. One is titled "Streetwise Maximize Web Site Traffic", and the other is "Web Site Analysis and Reporting."

Robin Nobles is a frequent speaker at conventions and seminars around the world, including the RE/MAX International Convention, the CENTURY 21 International Convention, workshops taught through the University of Southern Mississippi, the Alaska Travel Industry Association's Convention, Travel Trade Magazine's Passport to Profits Conference, Danny's Sullivan's Search Engine Strategies Conferences, and the 8th Electronic Directories Conference in Cannes, France. She also teaches workshops through Search Engine Workshops once a month in various locations across the globe

John Alexander has taught onsite search engine marketing workshops to people from over 80 different countries, and he has worked as a professional in the search engine industry since 1996.  He is a popular chat moderator for OnlineWebTraining and Search Engine Workshop students as well as members of the World Resource Center.

In 2001, John and Robin partnered to form Search Engine Workshops and the curriculum of the Search Engine Academy was born. They conducts approximately 8-10 workshops per year in various locations in North America.

In 2004, John and Robin created the Search Engine Academy.
